Wando Too Much for JL Mann in Girls 4A Soccer Final
Powerhouse program from Lowcountry has too many weapons for the Patriots.
The Wando Warriors girls soccer program is one of the best in the state of South Carolina. JL Mann found that out first hand in the 4A final at Gilbert High School in Lexington County on Saturday night, falling to the Warriors, 2-0.
JL Mann conceded a goal in the first five minutes and approximately three quarters of the game was played in their end of the field. But the Patriots hung tough, particularly the goalkeeper, who made several impressive saves to keep her team close.
But a slick goal from Wando's Hannah Ross in the 61st minute gave her team some breathing room.Â
