West End String Band to Perform in Mauldin

Popular Bluegrass band will play Mauldin Cultural Center's amphitheater Aug. 16

The Mauldin Cultural Center's Railroad Concert Series continues on Friday, August 16 with a performance from Greenville-based bluegrass band, West End String Band. 

The concert is free and open to the public and begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Center's Outdoor Amphitheater.

Known for their traditional bluegrass, old country and roots music, the group has performed all over the Upstate and Western North Carolina.

The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets and coolers (no alcohol) and enjoy a night of music with the entire family before school begins.

Rain location is the Mauldin Cultural Center Auditorium.

This concert is made possible by the Mauldin Cultural Center, City of Mauldin Office of Cultural Affairs and a grant from the SC Arts Commission, Metropolitan Arts Council and Graham Foundation.
