2 Area Students Win Scholarship Competitions At Carthage College

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC - From Carthage College: These local students were among the winners of various competitive scholarships for first-year students at Carthage College:

Lauryn Gullberg of Franksville, WI, won a Presidential Scholarship covering 75 percent of tuition.

Wendy Cruz of Racine, WI, won a Presidential Scholarship covering 75 percent of tuition.

Carthage presents these awards, totaling more than $1.5 million each year, to incoming students who demonstrate leadership skills and academic strength.

In many cases, applications for the next round of scholarship competitions are due Dec. 3. More information is available on Carthage's Competitive Scholarships page.
