Chesterbrook Academy Students Raise Over $1,100 for Nonprofit
Students held fundraising events to benefit Ronald McDonald House
On July 20, students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Mount Pleasant donated more than $1,110 to Ronald McDonald House, which provides a place for families to call home so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little to no cost. To raise money for the organization, students hosted a lemonade and pie stand and held a school wide art auction. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping other children in their community.
