Christopher Latham Arrested on Federal Charges
Former banker reportedly taken into custody by ATF agents.

Former Charleston-area bank executive Christopher Latham was arrested late Tuesday night on unspecified federal charges, according to police records.
The 50-year-old former bank executive has been under intense public scrutiny since four suspects, including Latham's girlfriend, were arrested and charged in a plot to kill Latham's estranged wife.
He has denied any connection to the failed plot, but Latham's estranged wife, Nancy, has said through divorce proceedings that her husband is a suspect.
Latham's attorney confirmed to the Post and Courier that Christopher Latham was arrested while vacationing with family at Lake Jocassee in Salem. He was transported back to Charleston County and booked into the county jail at 1:17 a.m., according to records.
Jail records list two counts of "federal charges" but list no other details. Agents with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives reportedly brought the charges.
Samuel Yenawine, 38, of Louisville, Ky.; Wendy Annette Moore, 37, Latham's reported girlfriend and Yenawine's ex-wife; Rachel Palmer, 36, Yenawine's girlfriend and Russell Wilkinson, 39, all were charged in the plot.
Yenawine committed suicide while being held in the Georgetown County Jail.Â
Christopher Latham is expected to be arraigned Wednesday on federal charges. A police booking photo was unavailable early Wednesday morning. Â
