Mount Pleasant jeweler Christina Jervey has been named as a runner-up on Garden & Gun magazine's "Made in the South" list for her unique, whimsical designs.
The annual list seeks out the best handmade items produced in the South. The winner was an Alabama rocking chair maker that requires 80 hours of work to produce.
Jervey's pieces are inspired by natural, organic forms, according to her write-up. The 33-year-old metal worker has been producing her handmade pieces since 2008.
