Low-Cost Animal Vaccines Offered Saturday

Charleston Animal Society offering $10 rabies vaccinations.

Rabies infections are fatal in dogs and cats, and summer is when most domesticated animals will come in contact with infected wild animals. Now is a good time to get you pet vaccinated, and the Charleston Animal Society is making the vaccines more affordable this weekend only.

WHAT: Low cost rabies vaccinations on Saturday May4. Vaccinations will be available at the discounted rate of $10.  Dogs should be on leashes and cats should be in carriers.

WHY: Healthy animals are an integral part of a healthy community.  Unfortunately, many pet owners are not in the financial position to provide them with their annual vaccinations.  Charleston Animal Society holds discounted rabies clinics several times a year to help those who may not be able to pay for these vaccinations otherwise.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Pet owners whose animals are in need of up-to-date vaccinations.
