A Mount Pleasant mom has completed a two-year project to add murals to the walls at Belle Hall Elementary.
Cindi Sanders, an artist and parent of former Belle Hall student, began her artwork in 2004 while her son was a student at the school.
The murals took two years to complete and they focus on themes of the ocean, rain forest and space. Sanders will now be working on two new themes which include South Carolina history and caterpillars.
