Nine S.C. Residents Killed in Alaska Plane Crash

An air taxi crash in Alaska has killed 10 in what is being called the worst aviation accident in Alaska in more than a decade, the Anchorage Daily News reported.

The State newspaper has reported that nine of the fatalities include S.C. residents, who have not been publicly identified. 

Anchorage Daily News reported:

"The de Havilland DHC-3 Otter airplane crashed at 11:20 a.m. Sunday at the Soldotna Airport, according to the Alaska State Troopers and Soldotna Police Department. The plane was operated by Rediske Air, according to the Federal Aviation Administration."
