Wando High School came into Friday's showdown with Goose Creek High with a swell of community pride an undefeated record this season.

But even all that Warrior pride wasn't enough against the Gators, themselves on a 21-game undfeated streak and a national ranking.

The Gators left Mount Pleasant with a decisive 35-14 win over the Wando Warriors.
