  1. Senator Lindsey Graham pushes for $12M to help build a new interstate connecting I-95 to Myrtle Beach. Extending I-73 is considered a critical infrastructure project for the tourism business on the Grand Strand. (WBTW)
  2. Myrtle Beach Police respond to a vulgar message written in Myrtle Beach sand. The apparently anti-Semitic message was written in the sand by an unknown person, and eventually washed away when the tide came in. MBPD is asking for the public's help with information. (WPDE)
  3. More than two dozen local projects are in jeopardy following the Governor's veto. Governor McMaster squashed projects totaling in excess of $150 million, including some he was interested in seeing completed, because he finds other projects suspicious. Some officials are intending to obtain an override of the veto. (WPDE)
  4. Horry County Police are asking the public's help in seeking two alleged thieves wanted for stealing copper and wire from homes that are under construction in Conway. The pair were previously arrested for drug possession and utility theft. (WMBF)
  5. Terry White, Sr. has announced that he will not seek re-election in November for his North Myrtle Beach City Council seat. White has served on the Council since 1992, as well as being Mayor Pro Tem all that time. His term will end this fall. (WMBF)
