CRC serves the Horry County area by providing a safe, welcoming place where young victims of abuse can receive the care they need through the investigation process and beyond. Their specially trained child advocates help those who come through their doors grow from child abuse victims to strong healthy survivors.

The open house was also an opportunity to bring awareness to the community about their services during Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Participants planted pinwheels in the pinwheel garden, toured each building, and met the new therapy dog, Paisley.

This year also marks CRCs 25th anniversary and this fall, on Oct. 16, 2021, the organization will celebrate the occasion with its 25th Anniversary Gala at Sunnyside Plantation.

Along with providing treatment services, CRC staff and volunteers work within the community to combat child abuse and neglect through education and awareness.
