"Always...Patsy Cline" Returns to Charleston!
This Wonderful Musical Tribute to Country Legend Patsy Cline is Ready to WOW Charleston Audiences Again.
Midtown Productions is thrilled to announce they’re bringing back Charleston favorite, Always… Patsy Cline, playing May 1-10 at the new Midtown Theatre at 2816 Azalea Drive.
More than a tribute show, Always…Patsy Cline is based on the true story of Cline’s friendship with Louise Seeger, a fan from Houston who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961. Always… Patsy Cline is filled with down home country humor, and 24 of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams, Leavin’ On Your Mind and Walking After Midnight.
Directed by Charleston native Sheri Grace Wenger with musical direction by Justin Wham, Midtown Productions’ Always… Patsy Cline features multi-award-winning actress/vocalist Becca Anderson as “Patsy,” and hilarious actress Susie Hallatt as “Louise.” The show also features a live, 6-piece, on-stage country band!
