Investigators should know soon if body found in Lauren's County is missing woman last seen in Simpsonville.

Investigators are still trying to determine the identity of a woman whose body was found in Laurens County, but a breakthrough could come soon.
Laurens County Coroner Nick Nichols said he expects to have dental records and DNA data that could identify the woman soon, according to The Greenville News (subscription required). An autopsy on the woman, whose body had been exposed for several days before being found, failed to identify her.
“I hope we’re getting close to knowing who we have, but right now we don’t know,” Nichols told the paper.
