Four years after leaving Mauldin High, Madison Younginer is preparing for his second season with the Greenville Drive.

Madison Younginer of Simpsonville still hopes to make it to the big league, but for now he's content to play the game that he loves in a town not so far from home.
The former Mauldin High pitcher is beginning his second season with the Greenville Drive.
The Drive is scheduled to play at 7:05 p.m. Thursday at Fluor Field against the Charleston Riverdogs.

In a recent interview with the Spartanburg Herald-Journal, Younginer said he his hoping to make a fresh start in Greenville this year after being benched by an injury last season.
Younginer will take his spot in the bullpen as the season begins.
