Obit: Roberta Anderson Workman of Simpsonville

Roberta Anderson Workman, age 83, of 101 Leake Drive, died Saturday, September 7, 2013 at her home. 

Mrs. Workman was born July 4, 1930 in Laurens County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Luke Anderson and the late Callie Sullivan Anderson, and she is the wife of Henry Workman, Jr. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Fountain Inn, SC and a former employee of Kemet Electronics. 

Surviving is her husband, Henry Workman, Jr.; daughters, Judith Workman-Lee, Joyce Elaine Workman and Lakendra Kennice Workman; son, Luther Henry Workman; grandson, Disha Dricos; sister, Daisy Bee Chapman; and five great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2013, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Ft. Inn, SC, with Dr. S. B. Neely and Pastor Sam Flint officiating. Burial will be in the Cannon Memorial Park.
