The AP Exam is administered to high school students after they have completed one year of AP -- or college level -- coursework in a particular subject area. It is a standardized exam that measures how well the student has mastered the content of the course. A successful score can earn a student college credit, resulting in advanced placement in college.
This year, Pinewood Prep celebrated the largest contingent of AP scholars since its participation in the program began. This is the third year Pinewood has graduated two National AP Scholars simultaneously (the other years were 2006 and 2011). Additionally, Pinewood has enjoyed graduating at least one National AP Scholar every year for the past five years.
