Hi gentle reader. today I thought I would share a little bit about Alzheimer's and me.
Alzheimer's is a head condition, not a heart condition.
When your loved one looks blank at you, it does not mean they have no feelings.
When your loved one does not smile, it doesn't mean they have no joy. When your loved one cannot remember your name, it does not mean gentle reader that they do not love you.
When the mind forgets, the heart remembers.
A moment of love and connection produces joy in the soul that is not soon forgotten.
More than a memory.. we are loving, thinking, feeling human beings.
This is true and gentle reader even behind the veil of Alzheimer's. Â
