Decomposed Body Found in Grover Identified as Summerville Man

Larry Jackson, 23, died of a single gunshot wound to his head, according to Dorchester County Coroner Chris Nisbet.

A decomposed body discovered by hunters in the woods in Grover has been identified as a Summerville man who went missing more than three months prior, according to Dorchester County Coroner Chris Nisbet.

Nisbet said Larry Jackson, 23, of Summerville was found Aug. 17 by the hunters. Jackson was reported missing April 29 and was last seen in the Brownsville area. 

Cause of death is listed as a single gunshot wound to the head, and Nisbet said the manner is homicide.
