Summerville based charity Chase After a Cure will present "Strikeout Childhood Cancer" on August 11, 2012 at Joe Riley Stadium, as The Charleston River Dogs (55-41) take on The Hagerstown Suns (58-40). Chase After a Cure is currently selling tickets exclusively through their website in which proceeds will go towards continuing childhood cancer research at MUSC Children's hospital. Tickets are being sold for $8 through Chase After a Cure's website. The organization is encouraging the community to purchase tickets and encourage friends, family, co-workers to do the same. The more tickets sold, the more funds are raised to fight childhood cancer in the low country. "Strikeout Childhood Cancer" is a fun for all ages family friendly event. It is  guaranteed a fantastic time with great concessions, face painting, pitching machine, dunking booth, jump castle, and of course great baseball.
