Fire Rescue Day Announced for Later This Month

The Dorchester County Fire Rescue Department will host Fire Rescue Day 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Harleyville Town Park. 

The event is an opportunity for the public to interact with Dorchester County Public Safety personnel and will feature a live burn demonstration at 1 pm. Other features include jump castles, vendors, games and prizes and a children’s bike rodeo. 

Dorchester County EMS and Dorchester County Emergency Management are also hosting the event.
