Wilbur C. Green, USAF (Ret), 84, of Summerville, widower of Minnie L. Green, passed away Monday morning, December 10, 2012 at Trident Medical Center. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at the funeral home. Funeral service was held Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 1 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Entombment followed at Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Columbia, SC 29605.
Mr. Green was born January 11, 1928 in York, Pennsylvania, son of the late Charles and Addie Ryder Green. He served in the United States Army from 1945-1948 and the United States Air Force from 1948-1968. He was a Shriner and Mason. He retired from Moris Newspaper Corporation and was a member of Summerville Baptist Church.

Surviving are: two step daughters: Annette McCall of Iva, SC and Susan Grillo of Bonneau, SC, and one step son: David Hutto of Columbia, SC. He was predeceased by his first wife: Evelyn Britton Hutto.
