Open House Announced for New County Park Along Ashley River

A public open house and conceptual master plan overview for the Ashley River Park has been announced for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17.

The park location is near the intersection of Bacons Bridge Road and Renken Road. 

The purpose of the open house is to allow the citizens of Dorchester County to come to their new park and provide input on the conceptual master plan for the property. 

The county held walking tours of the latest county park earlier this year. Click here to see photos. 

The Parks Commission has engaged Thomas & Hutton to prepare conceptual plans based on public input from our previous open house.  This is your opportunity to further view the property, take walking tours, and give additional input to the future development of the park.
