Report: Soldier's Death Not Racially Motivated, 3 Arrested in Case

Three soldiers have been arrested in the stabbing death of a Summerville man, serving as a soldier at a Washington state base, CNN.com reported.

The men arrested were: Jeremiah Hill, 23; Cedarium Johnson, 21; and Ajoni Runnion-Bareford, 21.

Army Spc. Tevin Geike was killed while walking with two fellow soldiers Saturday. Authorities were exploring a possible racial factor in the killing after witnesses said they heard a group of black men yell slurs at the men. But it authorities are now saying race was not a factor.
