Summerville Students Recognized at Higher Education Institutions

• Amami Antia-Obong of Summerville earned a MS in Biomedical Visual at the May 2013 Commencement of the UIC College of Applied Health Sciences.

• Springfield College has named the following Summerville residents to the dean's list for academic excellence for the spring 2013 term: Omar Pazi (Human Services), Lanishia Perry (Human Services), Lisa Perry (Human Services), Tanya Roach (Human Services), and Stephanie Winters (Human Services).

• Jeremiah Johnston of Summerville graduated Cum Laude from Gettysburg College on May 19, 2013. Johnston majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

• Wofford College's Dean's List for Summerville students in the Spring 2013 Semester: Emily Perrin Bacher (4.0 GPA), Lacey Caitlyn Jones, Catherine Michelle Eason, James Harrison Thompson, Henry Dale Thompson III, and Samuel Robert Mazell.

Blair Prietz of Summerville, S.C., a fourth-year student in the industrial design program in RIT's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences, made the Dean's List for the Spring 2013 quarter.

Melissa Lester of Summerville was one of more than 750 graduates to receive a diploma at Harding University's commencement exercises May 11. Lester received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting.

Lauren Krucke of Summerville, S.C. (29483) was named to the Dean's List of Emory College of Arts and Sciences, the undergraduate, liberal arts college of Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., for the 2013 spring semester.

Local residents have been named to the Dean's List at the Savannah College of Art and Design for spring quarter 2013. Full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the quarter receive recognition on the Dean's List. Local residents include: Chelsea Ford, Taylor Katsanis and Natalie Wiesnet.

Connor K. Every-Andrews a SUNY Canton Management major from Summerville, SC, 29483 made Dean's List for the spring 2013 semester. Every-Andrews is a 2010 graduate of unknown.
