Summerville Town Facilities Close Ahead Of Possible Severe Weather

The closure includes town buildings, parks, and athletic fields.

All Summerville Town facilities will close at 12 p.m., noon, on Thursday, March 18, 2021, due to the possibility of severe weather forecasted by the National Weather Service. The closure includes Town buildings, parks, and athletic fields. The regularly scheduled March Design Review Board meeting has been postponed to a later date to be determined. Municipal Court operations will proceed as scheduled Thursday morning.

Collection services with Carolina Waste are scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. Thursday and expected to be completed by 2 p.m. Possible changes will be posted to the Town website.

Flooded roadways and downed trees can be reported to the non-emergency dispatch line at (843) 875-1650.
