Town Funds $15k for Popular British Sport
Summerville Cricket Club receives Town of Summerville funds.

Summerville Town Council voted Monday to approve $15,000 in funding toward bringing the popular British sport of cricket to South Carolina.
The vote was 5-1, with Bob Jackson absent and Bill McIntosh voting against the measure.Â
The funds will come out of the hospitality fund, according to Mayor Bill Collins.Â
