The Woodland Wildcats is a three tier (8u, 10u, 12u) first year youth travel football program in Ridgeville and surrounding areas. The goal is promote the development of youth through their association with adult leaders. The kids have been training for their first season as an organization since February 2018, lasting throughout the summer. The season official kicked off in August.
Playoffs begin on Saturday, November 17th at Brookland-Cayce High School (1300 State St. Cayce, SC 29033) with games starting at 10am and picking back up at 10am on Sunday, November 18th at the same location.
8U Wildcats (Head Coach Marlon Pryor): Enters the playoffs undefeated with a record of 8-0. (Finishing as the #1 seed in the league, and #1 8U team in the State right now for rankings). Every regular season game was a shutout. 8u has a first round bye and will play Sunday, November 18th @ 11am against the lowest remaining seed from the games the prior day. If they win that game they will advance to the State Championship.
10U Wildcats (Head Coach Bryan Howell): Enter playoffs with a 4-4 record. They will be playing the Palmetto Stampede (3-3-2) in the first round on 11/17 @ 11:30.
12U Wildcats (Head Coach Tommy Grady): Enter playoffs with a 6-2 record. The will be playing the Red Storm (3-5) on Saturday, 11/17 @ 4:15.
The State Championship will be held at Fort Dorchester High School on December 2nd and December 3rd. The State Champion of each age group will then have the opportunity to compete in Nationals (Disney World)
