$80,000 Raised For Safe Harbor

Safe Harbor, a Greenville-based organization that provides services and resources for those effected by domestic violence in Greenville, Anderson, Pickens and Oconee Counties, received some $80,000 last week during a fundraiser in Greenville. 

"Fashion With A Passion" was held at the Poinsett Club on March 7, and featured fashion, food and a variety of entertainment, including both live and silent auctions. 

A runway show also showcased the latest Spring fashions from Monkees of the West End, Plaza Suite, Petals Boutique, Muse Shoe Studio, Wisteria Salon & Spa, Vestique, Coplons and the Safe Harbor Resale Shop. 

Two former Safe Harbor clients also shared their stories of hope and success with the audience. 

Former Safe Harbor client and local artist, Jennifer said:

“Safe Harbor turns victims into survivors, giving us the tools and unconditional love needed not only to survive, but to truly live vibrant lives.” 

Through Fashion with a Passion, $80,000 was raised towards Safe Harbor’s mission, doubling the original fundraising goal.
