Amazon Hiring Workers in South Carolina, US Facilities
The company announced Monday it intends to hire about 7,000 workers — 5,000 for warehouse jobs and 2,000 in customer service positions.

It's a great day in South Carolina as Amazon announced it will be hiring more workers throughout its US facilities.
Amazon is hiring more than 5,000 full-time employees for its fulfillment centers, including some at its Spartanburg and Charleston warehouses, the internet giant announced Monday.
In June, the company announced it had 100 warehouse positions open at the Spartanburg facility.
The company also plans to add an additional 2,000 people to serve as customer service representatives.
The announcement comes just one day before President Barack Obama visits Amazon's Chattanooga, Tenn., facility.
