Armed Robbery Reported Near Taylors Library

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened Wednesday. 

Jonathan Smith, public information officer for the GCSO said a man told deputies he was walking home from the Taylors branch of the Greenville County Library when he was approached by two unidentified black males armed with handguns. 

The two men pointed handguns at him and demanded he turn over his wallet, phone and briefcase. The victim said after the men took his belongings, they fled the area in a blue van. No injuries were reported in the incident.
