What's up this week in Greer-Taylors? We've got you covered with the places you need to be and when.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Greer-Taylors Patch to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Break a leg!

The final auditions for "The Little Mermaid Jr." will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 29 at the Greer Recreation Center, 226 Oakland Avenue. 

2. A Tale of Conservation

An hour of family fun will be held at 7 p.m. at the Cannon Centre. This week Jeffrey Lefko will talk about Conservation. Kids can enjoy 30 minutes of crafts and 30 minutes of story time. And, it's FREE!

3. New Clothes for Someone

Greer Cultural Arts Camp ARK will present “The Emperor’s New Threads,” written by Greenville playwright Nancy Rechtman. Show times are at 7 p.m. Aug. 2 and 9, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 3 and 10 at the Cannon Centre 204 Cannon St. Admission is free. Concessions will be sold.

4. Baseball With A View

Watch the Greenville Drive Baseball Game from the rooftop of the New York Life Building with Mark and Amanda Hopper and mingle with fellow Chamber members. You must register for this event.

5. Learn About Greer

Greer Heritage Museum, 106 S. Main St., is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Admission is free. Call (864) 877-3377 for more information.
