Bear Seen On Swamp Rabbit Trail
A black bear weighing up to 400 pounds was seen in the area of the trail two days ago.

A black bear has been spotted on the Swamp Rabbit Trail in northern Greenville County, and authorities are asking those who frequent the path to use caution and be aware of their surroundings, FoxCarolina.com reports.Â
A black bear weighing up to 400 pounds was seen running across U.S. 25 toward Precision Valve in the area of Edwards Street and Roe Road in the Travelers Rest area, Travelers Rest Police Chief Lance Crowe said.Â
The animal, which may be the same bear spotted by authorities in the area two years ago, was running along the edge of the trail when he was seen.Â
