Boil Water Advisory Issued In Greer Community

A water main break is suspected of possibly allowing contamination in the system.

Some customers of Blue Ridge Rural Water in Greer are being asked to boil their water before consumption through Monday night, WYFF is reporting. 

The advisory, issued Sunday for customers in the Cliffs Valley subdivision, was necessitated by a water main break may have allowed contamination into the system. 

Customers in the area are asked to boil their water for at least one minute before using it for drinking or cooking.
