Chinese Company Sets Up Shop In Greer

A Chinese rubber company has opened up a sales office in the Greer area on Wade Hampton Boulevard, GreerToday.com reports. 

Lau Rubber and Plastics, headquartered in Guangzhou, China, has opened its North American sales and operations office in at 711 West Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer, next to the Greer Plaza Shopping Center. 

The company produces products in the rubber and plastics industry, and supplies parts to global companies and brands in the automotive, computer, communications, aviation, household appliance and packaging industries. 

The company's long term strategy include a plan to develop a manufacturing facility.
