City Of Greer: Freedom Blast Entertainment To Be Live Streamed

Those individuals will still have an opportunity to enjoy the festival thanks to a live stream of activities taking place on the main stage and the fireworks display beginning at 10 p.m.

“We’re very aware that some may still feel uncomfortable being in a crowded public setting and others simply won’t be able to attend Freedom Blast in person. Tuning in for the live stream is the next best thing,” City of Greer communications manager Steve Owens said. “We’ll go live at 6 p.m. and will stream until the conclusion of the fireworks show at approximately 10:20. This will include the full concert by our headliner, the Gal Friday Band, and a 20-minute set by Mark Webb Jr. We appreciate the artists’ consent to make this happen.”

The City of Greer has followed restrictions set forth by Gov. Henry McMaster throughout the pandemic. Wearing a face mask at Freedom Blast will be a personal decision for all guests and hand sanitizer stations will be available on site.

The live stream will originate on the City of Greer’s YouTube channel (http://bit.ly/FreedomBlastLive) and will be embedded on the city’s social media and at www.freedomblast.org.
