Clock Customers Hold One Final Cruise-In

The Clock on Wade Hampton Boulevard will close March 31.

Loyal customers of The Clock, the burger joint at the intersection of Wade Hampton Boulevard and Pleasantburg Drive that's served as a landmark in Greenville for 60 years, held one last hoorah for the business this weekend.

WYFF was on hand as customers held a cruise-in Saturday at The Clock to celebrate six decades of memories and to mourn its imminent closing, as the restaurant will close its doors at the famous location due to a sudden rise in the rental rate for the property.

The restaurant will close March 31, but could re-open in another location.
