Do you know what you need to know about Common Core?

Common Core Educational Standards, in my opinion, need to be stopped!  There has been a proposed State Senate bill, #s300, and House Bill #3943, which would do just that.  Please contact your local representatives and senators and ask them to support these bills! 
(A Bill To Amend Article 5, Chapter 1, Title 59 Of The 1976 Code, Relating To General Provisions Concerning Education, By Adding Section 59-1-490 To Provide That The Common Core Standards May Not Be Imposed On South Carolina.)

Common Core includes intrusive collecting of personal student information (race, religion, political affiliation, etc.) along with a uniform "one size fits all" standard of education that is designed to produce a future workforce of politically correct social justice robots!  There will be fuzzy math along with little to know time spent on classic literature (Informational manuals will be read instead.)

As you may or may not know, Bill Gates has spent almost $150 million to promote these standards.  To be eligible to compete for Federal Race to the Top money you needed to sign on to Common Core.  Most states signed on without realizing that there is never a "free lunch"!  When the government gives you something they want a lot more in return.

Please do your homework on this.  The well-being of your children and your grand-children is at stake!

Remember Yuri and Lara's daughter from Dr. Zhivago?  I believe that she is a good  example of the goal of Common Core.
