Eastside Boys, Wade Hampton Girls Play For Upper State Title

Wade Hampton High School's girls basketball team and Eastside's High School's boys basketball team will both play for the Upper State title this weekend. 

Wade Hampton, now in AAAA, will play Dorman High School at 7 p.m. Friday at the Bi-Lo Center for a chance to play for the state title. 

Wade Hampton won the AAA Upper State crown a year ago at the same venue before falling to Dreher in the state title game. 

Meanwhile, Eastside High School, ranked No. 1 at the AAA level in boys basketball, will take on No. 4 Daniel at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
