Events Usher In Christmas Season In The City Of Greers

A special holiday version of the Greer Farmers Market opened the weekend's events, which included the annual Supper with Santa held for City of Greer employees as a fundraiser for the Greer Police Department's Cops for Tots program. This year's supper raised $1,251.

Heavy rain did not deter Santa and Mayor Rick Danner from lighting the City Christmas tree, although families found it much more comfortable to watch the lighting live on Facebook.

Beautiful weather was in store for Saturday's Breakfast with Santa and Sunday's annual Greer Christmas Parade.
