Fallen Soldiers' Families To Help Lead Greer Parade

Christmas Parade being held in downtown Greer on Sunday afternoon.

The families of two fallen American heroes will help lead the Greer Christmas Parade on Sunday, GreerToday reports.

The families of Pfc. Adam Ross, of Lyman and Sgt. Channing "Bo" Hicks, of Greer will participate in the Jaycees Christmas Parade, which begins at 2:30 p.m. and runs through downtown Greer.

Ross, 19, was killed in action in July in Afghanistan, and Hicks, a 24-year-old Greer native, was killed in the same country while serving on Nov. 16. The parade will begin at the Clock restaurant on West Poinsett and take a left onto North Main Street where it will end at the J. Harley Bonds Center.
