Fine Arts Center Accepting Applications, Holding Open House

Event to be held next week.

The Fine Arts Center is inviting parents of prospective students to check out its campus and programs on Nov. 8, at 6:30 p.m.

The event will be held at the Fine Arts Center at 102 Pine Knoll Drive, on the campus of Wade Hampton High School.  Students will be working and performing in the studios, ready to answer questions about what it's like to be part of the 400-member student body there.

Parents can visit as many studios as they would like: Creative writing, dance, drama, technical theatre, ceramics, metals, photography, drawing and painting, digital film studies, chamber music, AP music theory, woodwinds, brass and percussion, individual voice, jazz studies, music engineering and technical theatre.

Parents will be able to talk with teachers, meet the counselor to discuss schedules, and meet with the director of the school.  To get a better idea of what the Fine Arts Center and its programs are all about, head to the facility's recital hall at 6:30 p.m., Nov. 6.
