Sex offenders must register with the state every time they move. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division maintains a record of every registered sex offender, and their database shows seven sex offenders living in a one-mile radius of Mitchell Road Elementary School on East North Street:

- Christopher Lowe, Wanted for non-compliance, last address 3900 East North Street, Apt. C137

- Gary Kagel, 5 Gladesworth Drive
