That's what A&E must be after their hit reality show, "Duck Dynasty" drew a whopping 11.8 million viewers for Wednesday's season premiere.
It even beat out records set by "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and "Jersey Shore."
Now who would have thought a redneck, gun-toting family from Louisiana would draw a big crowd?Â
Andy Dehnart, editor of realityblurred.com, a blog about unscripted TV shows said, "The No. 1 thing is just that the cast members are really appealing, nice, funny, warm, awesome people to spend some time with on TV. I think that's what makes all the difference."
Fans of all ages have taken to the show like a duck to water.But here's a few interesting things you may not know about these bearded men and their families:
1. Phil Robertson was the first string quarterback at Louisiana Tech University, ahead of four-time Super Bowl champion and football commentator, Terry Bradshaw.
2. Si is married to a lady named Christine, although he appears single on the show.
3. In addition to his truck, Willie also has a BMW in camo.Â
4. Si drinks unsweetened tea from a cup his mother sent to him while he was serving in Vietnam.
5. Jase recently got kicked out of a New York hotel after asking to use the bathroom. Jase said the staff member at the hotel thought he was homeless.
