Five Things You Need to Know This Week

With the Fourth of July holiday quickly approaching there's a few things you'll want to remember.

1. Don't miss Tall Tale Tuesday! The weekly event begins at 7 p.m. July 2 at the Cannon Centre. Families will enjoy 30 minutes of crafts and a 30 minutes of a story. This week's storyteller is Scott Ibottson.

2. Tunes in the Park will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, July 5. Performing this week, Jim Quick and the Coastline Band.

6 p.m. — Greer Idol Teen
7 p.m. — Jim Quick and Coastline Band
8 p.m. — Greer Idol
9 p.m. — Jim Quick and Coastline Band

3. All city offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4.

4.  Trash collection delayed for residents with Thursday collection. Those residents should place their trash on the curb by 7 a.m. Friday.

5. Moonlight and Movies will not be held Thursday. The movies will resume July 11.
