Former D&D Car Lot Ripe For Restaurants, Retail

The former site of the dealership has been listed and divided into parcels.

The former site of D&D Ford on Wade Hampton Blvd. in Greer would be an ideal site for restaurants and retail operations, a Greer official told The Greenville News.

The dealership has moved elsewhere and the land it occupied at 1000 Wade Hampton has been listed and divided into three separate parcels ranging from 1.65 to 3.2 acres, the paper said.

The location is suited for retail, restaurant or service destination use, such as a spa, Kyle Mensing, Greer Development Corp.'s commercial development director, told the newspaper

“I think due to the location, it’s great for both retail and restaurant use,” Mensing said. “It’s a very high traffic, high visibility intersection. And, obviously, quite a lot of land there.”
