Gamecock Trio Combines For No-Hitter

Colby Homes, Forrest Koumas and Josh Knab toss first no-hitter at USC in nearly 40 years.

Three Gamecocks combined for a no-hitter Sunday in a 14-1 over Albany, WYFF reports. 

Starter Colby Homes, Forrest Koumas and Josh Knab didn't allow a hit in the first game of a doubleheader Sunday.

Holmes went six innings, while Koumas pitched two innings in middle relief and Knab closed out the win.

Albany's run came in the fourth inning after a walk, a throwing error and a sacrifice fly. 

Sunday's performance was the first no-hitter at USC since 1975.
