Georgia Guitar Quarter Coming To BJU
Musical act will perform on Oct. 23 at BJU's Founder's Memorial Amphitorium.

Bob Jones University will host the Georgia Guitar Quartet (GGQ) in Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium at 8 p.m., Oct. 23.
Formed in 1996 and hailing from Athens, Ga., GGQ is composed of Jason Solomon, Phil Snyder, Brian Smith and Kyle Dawkins. The concert is open to the public, and tickets are available online or by calling (864) 770-1372.
“Jason, Phil, Brian and Kyle are amazing musicians and composers in their own right,” said Darren Lawson, Dean of the School of Fine Arts and Communication for BJU. “Their combined talents create music and an overall performance experience that we are excited to be able to share with the Upstate community.”

Selections scheduled to be performed include an original composition by Dawkins, as well as widely recognized titles such as Linus and Lucy by Vince Guaraldi, “Anitra’s Dance” from Peer Gynt by Edvard Grieg and the Irish traditional “The Road to Lisdoonvarna.”

Ticket prices are $30 for adults who wish to sit in the front sections and $25 for rear sections, and full-time student tickets are $12 for all sections.
