Are you ready for some football? Then Saturday could be your lucky day! The Fellowship of Christian Athletes Jamboree will be held at North Greenville University. The first game is set for 5:30 p.m. between Eastside and St. Joseph's. See full schedule here.

Go see Planes! It opens Friday in theaters. And check out Propwash Patch while your at it! 

Sizzlin' Summer Fun during Second Saturday at the Roper Mountain Science Center. The fun begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.

Party Junction will hold a Back-to-School Bash from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 10.

The Children’s Museum of the Upstate presents Countdown to Kindergarten from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.

Let's go racin.' Greer Dragway opens at noon Saturday for the International Hot Rod Association Super Series Bracket Race. 

Visit the Greer Heritage Museum. The museum is open each Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

See the stars Friday night at Roper Mountain Science Center. Planetarium shows are held from 6:30 to 10 p.m. each Friday. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for children 4 and up, $4 for seniors.

Have some shopping to do? How about enjoying the tunes of Mack McCloud at Shops at Greenridge Summer Concert Series  from 7 to 10 p.m.
