Deb Richardson-Moore has written a book, "The Weight Of Mercy," about her experiences working with the homeless.

A former journalist who is currently Upstate pastor has released a book about her experiences helping the homeless, WYFF reports.

Deb Richardson-Moore, who was a writer for The Greenville News before taking on a new role of pastor at The Triune Mercy Center, is the author of "The Weight Of Mercy," a memoir about Richardson-Moore's experience at Triune, where one-third of congregants are homeless.

"As the years went on and things got easier, I began to forget how hard those first years had been and I didn't want to forget," Richardson-Moore said.
